This handles making sure only valid certs are allowed in. Then it is up the applications to handle the authorization. One option is use opensso, there are a few sun.com blogs I have found talking about it. The trick is merging the SSL_CLIENT_S_DN_CN(unique to everyone) in a friendly name. For me this would have to be across applications if there isn't an identity server running for everyone. Backend services can be written to supply common data at application registration. Got me the 16G today. I thought to go early, but figured - naaaah.... I'll just see what's up. Stopped in on the way to the studio, about 8:30. Walked right in. Was outta there in 10. 32G were all gone... but I don't really carry too much music, unless I'm traveling and then I'll delete after. 16G is pretty good going from the 8G. And I promptly sold my 3D for $90. So, $110 for the new 3Gs, video, 3MP Cam, and twice the storage. Not bad. Although, it's busted now - can't sync at all. Good man.
