Well since I got MySQL Clustering working I thought I would try out HyperDB on my install of wordpress. Now I don’t have anywhere near the volume to support this. Actually I have none. But My MySQL server gets hit hit nicely and I want to try it. I also have replication for applications like mediawiki. On Previous post I listed the server types I have running. I only have one change to the config. I placed ndb_mgmd on a different server than the one listed. I converted all wordpress DB’s to ndbcluster. My next test is to see how the automatic update works with ndbcluster. I think of asking the plugin owner. But who know I may just jump and try it. Worse that can happen is I lose this post.
