Citi is saying that they are cutting 10000 jobs. Sun is going to cut 5000-6000 jobs. A lot of us who try to follow big system providers kinda saw this coming years ago. But Sun really tried to hold on to as many people as they could for as long as they could. They had Billions in reserve, but they had to down side. I am hoping those people will find jobs or start service companies to support Sun products. I really like Sun Products and their people. I have always had a hard time finding a person at Sun I couldn’t get along with. Even the ones I didn’t, it more we didn’t understand each other. Once we got past that everything was good. If you have a opening and can hire a Sun person I would recommend it. Your chances of having reliable person working for you are high.
